A lonely journey

This photo was taken in front of my workstation in
Brodie Hall, Technology Park

This is interesting comment! I captured the phrase when I was browsing one of the doctoral thesis. I absolutely agree with the writer and I believe that most of the PhD candidate will go through the same thing. So, I quote the phrase written by Magnar. Thanks, at least I’m not any different to have the same feeling.
“Research is not something that you do only by yourself. This is a ‘personal’ finding from
developing this thesis. Although when working alone with a text in your office you may
sometimes think that you have made a discovery, you will be very insecure about the value of your discovery before you have discussed the text with other researchers. They may confirm your finding, but they can also discover things in the text that you have not imagined.
Or they may simply react with disappointment to what you have written.
In each of these cases you become a little more secure regarding your research.
Interaction with others makes doing
research more meaningful”.

My new shoes

I had been looking for a new shoes for quite sometimes. Well, Im a bit fussy, try to get the cheaper one but meet my requirement. So far, all the nice shoes cost a fortune. But luckily, I found nice shoes last week at Harbour Town on sales. The initial price is actually AUD79.95 but further discount for AUD49.95. If you buy one, you will get half price discount for the second shoes. Since my friend decided to buy shoes as well, so, we shared the further discount. So the shoes only cost me AUD37.50. Here is the mathematics equation;
(49.95 + (49.95/2) ) = AUD37.50

Sunset

Victoria Quay -Fremantle Port
“Love is the dawn of marriage,
and marriage is the sunset
of love”
French Proverb quotes
I love sunset very much, it's the perfect harmony creation of ALLAH. The Lighthouse also add the sentimental value to the scenic view. I took that photo last week during the fishing trip to Fremantle. Mahatma Ghandi quotes
“When I admire the wonder of a sunset or the beauty of the moon,
my soul expands in worship of the Creator

I'm back

Burshwood Park- Swan River, Perth

Alhamdulilah, after almost a year with no updates, I will start blogging again. At this moment, I'm writing this post in different continent. I'm no longer in Malaysia but in the smallest and lowest-lying of the Earth's continents, that is Australia. I made another journey in my life. I choose Western Australia and residing in Perth for at least another 3 years. Unlike UK, Australia particularly Perth is different, as much as how contradic is their location, one in north hemisphere and Perth in south hemisphere. Perth is very hot at the moment and sometimes it reached more than 40 degrees. Well, thats why it is also known as one of the "Hot Summer Down Under" destination. The weather is hot and dry unlike Malaysia. It's no different as compared to Spain and Egypt during the peak summer.
